Sam Kavanagh

Sam joined Cavendish in September 2018. Since then, he has worked on a number of transactions primarily focused in the technology sector. Recent transactions include the sale of Sourcebreaker to Bullhorn, Pimlico Plumbers to Neighborly, Xexec to Castik Capital/Abry Partners and the acquisition of Reward Gateway by Castik Capital/Abry Partners.

Sam was previously at BDO Corporate Finance team in Dublin. During this time, he was responsible for and directly involved in a number of M&A and transaction services assignments from inception to completion. These comprised buy-side and sell-side mandates, management buy-outs, vendor and bidder financial due diligence, debt/equity fundraising and valuations.

Sam graduated with First Class Honours in both Business, Economic and Social Studies and MSc in Finance degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Smurfit Graduate Business School respectively. He qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2016.
