Cavendish is pleased to announce that is has advised KKR owned Travelopia Group on the sale of its Events division to Keith Prowse, part of Compass Group PLC (a FTSE 20 company). This successful transaction adds to the extensive list of deals that the Cavendish team has completed in the travel and hospitality sectors.
The Travelopia Events division comprises of Gullivers Sports Travel and Events International, both of which have a rich heritage. Gullivers sold its first rugby and cricket supporter tours back in 1972 and is a multi-sport tour operator specialising in travel packages for rugby, cricket, and motorsport fans attending high-profile events. Events International is a wholesale supplier of tickets and premium hospitality packages, with a strong history in horse racing, tennis, motorsport, and rugby events.
Keith Prowse, a leading provider of premium experiences, is officially appointed by iconic brands and stadiums across the UK. It operates as a subsidiary of Levy, a sports and entertainment experience specialist, which is owned by Compass Group PLC.
By combining forces, these businesses will leverage their shared expertise and complementary strengths to drive innovation and expand their offerings in premium travel and event solutions, ensuring they continue to deliver exceptional experiences to their customers.
