Cavendish is pleased to announce that it has advised Mobeus, a leading equity investor in UK-based SMEs, on its management buy-out of Distant Journeys, an award winning, leading provider of long-haul escorted tours. This transaction adds to Cavendish’s extensive credentials and experience in the travel sector.
Mobeus will support co-founder and MD, Simon Whittle and with the new funding, Distant Journeys plans to enhance its offerings in established markets and aims to extend its reach with expansion into new destinations.
The investment for Mobeus was co-led by Chris Price and Freddie Bacon with support from Samira Aminzare. Mobeus Managing Partner, Ashley Broomberg will join the board.
